In 2017 the composer set to a cappella choir this piece based on Attila József's emblematic, bitterly humorous poem, whose many lines and rhyme games are already embedded in the spoken language and in the consciousness of Hungarian speakers. One of the poem's highly recognizable features are the amusingly rhythmic repetitions of words or syllables, underlined by the composer with sharp (pseudo)dotted rhythms. The 10 short verses of identical structure are set to music in a so-called through-composed way, mirroring the lyrics. The piece is dedicated to the Octovoice Vocal Ensemble.
