Miklós Csemiczky: Miniatures for Singing, series 2 – six songs for soprano solo and piano
Six Songs to Poems by Zsófia Balla,Béla Cselényi and Géza Szőcs for soprano solo and piano

From friends, to friends: this is the best way to describe the series of songs composed by Miklós Csemiczky in 2003-2004. The emotional and aphoristic poems of the cycle are written by Hungarian poets (Zsófia Balla, Béla Cselényi, Géza Szőcs) who are close to the composer, and the recipient of the dedication is György Selmeczi, a friend and fellow composer who was celebrating a round anniversary, and who is himself an initiated master of vocal genres and of lieder.

Imádság melegért / Prayer for warmth (Balla Zsófia)
A liba / The goose (Szőcs Géza)
Ha megszólalok / When I speak (Balla Zsófia)
A spártai vadnyúl / The spartanian wild rabbit (Cselényi Béla)
Szuszogó / Snuffling (Balla Zsófia)
Csillagom, révészem / My star, my ferryman (Szőcs Géza)
